Good advice for good causes

I untangle communications challenges for public and third sector organisations doing important work.

Too many brilliant organisations get stuck when their communications don’t match their impact. Whether it’s stakeholder engagement that’s gone sideways, messaging that isn’t landing, or complex projects spinning their wheels – I’ve seen it all in 18 years working in this sector.

That’s why I founded Untangled Comms: to work with a small number of clients who need both smart strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves delivery. I believe people doing good things deserve high-quality comms and a partner who truly gets them.

I combine intellectual rigour with straightforward communications – Cambridge brain, Manc tongue. I’m known for asking those persistent ‘why’ questions, digging deeper until we reach what truly matters. Then I translate complex ideas into language that resonates with your audiences. Where others see a mess of knots and tangles, I find the loose threads – and systematically work them free.
